What is F.P.C. ?

Freedom of Press Project Cluj is a private project developed in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, which runs activities in the fields of the freedom of press, journalism, university and civil society.
The F.P.C. activities carry on trough a web site and different partenerships/agreements with state and private institutions and organisations from Romania and abroad.
Freedom of Press Project Cluj is property of Non-Proffit Association Media Observer Cluj, Romania, Cluj-Napoca, street Traian Mosoiu, nr. 71. 		 

     
     
Origins and purposes

Freedom of Press Project Cluj is a project initiated in 2003 by the romanian journalist Cristian Todea.

The main form of this project is represented by a web site:
www.mediaobservercluj.ro

Trough this project we wish to defend and promote the principles of the freedom of expression among press institutions from Cluj, among general public, public institutions and among all the people who fight for the democratic right of freedom of expression in Romania.

Other activities:

Seminars, practic activities and contests for the students from the Journalism and Communication&P.R. departements of Cluj's Babes-Bolyai University.
   
Seminars for journalists, civil society representativs and puplic institutions from Cluj, Romania and abroad.
   
Research studies in the field of the freedom of press in Cluj.
